O2 Connected World Road Show Spring 2009


February sees SNAP TO BLACK back on the Road with the O2 Connected World Road Show.


The Road Show will be visiting Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Glasgow, London, Machester, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Scunthorpe, and Southampton, between February 1st and March 6th.

SNAP TO BLACK at the Customs House, South Shields


Snap to Black are currently working in a consultancy role with the Customs House Theatre, South Shields.


The Customs House is one of Tyneside's busiest theatres programming theatre, cinema and art exhibitions, delivering entertainment for the entire community.


We are currently working alongside the Technical Team, auditing the technical operation and procedures of the venue, as well as ensuring compliance with legislation and trying to reduce the venue's Carbon Foot print.

SNAP TO BLACK back at the RSAMD


Following the success of the Academy's Pantomime 'Mother Goose' SNAP TO BLACK chief James Henshaw is set to return to RSAMD as Production Electrics Lecturer for the spring term to fill the currently vacant post on a temporary basis.

James will be working with all Students on the Technical and Production Arts course and plans a range of challenging projects in order to prepare students for life in the industry.

This term he will not only be advising and consulting with students, as before, but will also be teaching the first and second year students, on multiple areas with in Production Electrics.

Noise Ensemble and SNAP TO BLACK


In December, London Production Company "Louder Than Words" approached Snap to Black and asked if we could offer them Production and Technical Management for the Spring/Summer Tour of "Noise Ensemble" a show that has previous performed to sell out tours accross the UK and Europe, as well as 2008's FA Cup final and an appearance on ITV's "One Night Only".


James was quick to accept this offer and it is the intention that Louder Than Words and Snap To Black will work on numerous high profile projects and tours throughout 2009, including an Autumn 'Noise' Tour, keep watching this space for more details.


As well as Production and Technical Management for the Tour SNAP TO BLACK will be providing all the Technical Crew for the Tour.
